From Pastor Binion

Beloved, this Communion Sunday the Bible says to us in 2 Timothy 2:20, “In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. Vs. 21 says “If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes,  purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.”

Paul is speaking to his spiritual son, Timothy, and to you and me, to rid ourselves of the things that do not matter in this life.  When this is done, we will be ready to do great things for GOD.  There are people, places and things that need to be purged from our lives.
Ask the Spirit of GOD to reveal those things that are stopping us from being our best for GOD.  When these are uncovered, let us quickly remove them from our lives.  After this cleansing process, we will find new strength and a renewed purpose in our lives.
We invite ALL believers to join us as we worship today, around the Communion Table.  Are you following the leader?  I will conclude today with these series of Lessons on Following JESUS, our leader; however, I may return to them sometime in the future.
I hope, pray, and trust, you have done as I requested last week: “Made it personal.”  I am speaking of your relationship with CHRIST.  Unless it is a personal relationship, HE hasn’t become Savior and LORD of your lives.
Well, WSCOG, get ready, get ready, get ready!  We begin our Week of Dedication Services next Sunday, and Bishop Gregory Dixon will be our very special guest preacher.  Also, brunch will be served after worship.  Promotion materials are at the welcome desk. Help us spread the word and believe GOD for a blessed week.

Love and Appreciate You,
